Author Submission Details

To make your submission process smooth and easy, follow the steps below! We’ve outlined everything you need to ensure your manuscript meets the journal’s guidelines. Take a moment to review the instructions, and you'll be all set for a successful submission. If you need further details, don’t worry—everything you need is right there. Checklist

  • Please register online to gain access to the journal by visiting https://research.baps.org/gateway/journal-registration-form/ and completing the application. Once the application is submitted, please wait while we review your application.
  • Once your application is approved, you can access the journal online by visiting https://research.baps.org/journal/index.php/BSRJ. Feel free to check out the latest issue and archives of published issues.
  • As all referencing will be managed automatically through the Zotero Reference Management Software, please create a Zotero account and download their software from the following address: https://www.zotero.org/
      • Once you have created a Zotero account and successfully installed Zotero on your system, please get in touch with our Acquisitions editor. They will escort you through the details of migrating your citations onto Zotero using their shared referencing features.
  • To streamline the publication process, we have created templates that allow our layout editors to accurately and efficiently curate your submission to be compatible with our publication format. Please follow the following steps to migrate your article into one of the templates provided below:
        • Download the suitable template for your submission from the following: BSRJ - Article Templated - Public
          If your potential publication is in English, please download the following template: "BSRJ Template - English.dotx"
          If your potential publication is in Hindi or Sanskrit, please download the following template: "BSRJ Template - Devanagari.dotx"
          Please also download and install the fonts available at the link above.
        • Once you download the appropriate template, please observe how styles are utilized in Microsoft Word to format the provided dummy text.
        • Once you understand how the various styles are created in the document, please remove the dummy text from the template and insert the text and headers for your publication.
        • Be sure to reformat your inserted content according to the styles provided in the template.
          If you do not know which style to select for any text, please redownload the template from the link above and carefully study how the dummy text is formatted. Choose the style most appropriate for the text section or header you have inserted.
  • Please closely go through the submission guidelines.
  • Once your submission is finalized, revised, and ready for print, please download and review the BAPS Swaminarayan Research Journal - Journal Contribution Publishing Agreement. We will only be able to publish your paper once you have accurately filled out the agreement and emailed it to [email protected]
